T&DA Creates Interactive Experience For The Return Of BTS BTS is back! And to herald the debut of their comeback album, Arirang, they’re inviting their fans on a scavenger hunt across Spotify. The mission: recover the fragments of a Chosun-inspired wax cylinder to unlock exclusive messages and lyrics from the group. T&DA and Alt collaborated with Spotify to bring this interactive fan experience to life, ensuring that the visuals matched the hype. We meticulously crafted seven unique wax disks, each representing individual members of BTS with custom engravings, an authentic and tactile wax look and a colour palette that stayed true to Arirang To house this experience, we engineered a bespoke wax cylinder player. Every aspect of the device was modeled, rigged, and to feel mechanically authentic, as if it truly possessed the power to spin these secret messages into sound. We also ensured that the look of the device matched the aesthetic of Arirang while remaining consistent with Spotify To top the experience off, atmospheric cutscenes accentuate the fans journey through experience, accentuating milestones and building up hype in the leadup to the albums release. The West Coast’s Most Iconic Duo Reunited. Thirty years ago Hip Hop was changed forever. Snoop and Tupac released their iconic single “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted”. To commemorate the legacy of this iconic duo, Cali By Snoop is getting an exclusive release, with a label that is the first ever to feature Tupac’s likeness and backed by a heartfelt tribute from Snoop himself. T&DA had the privilege of illustrating the label behind this cultural moment, to design something that would allow Snoop to pay tribute to his brother, collaborator and friend. Our design process was spearheaded with hand-drawn sketches, to trial and refine the labels art style, and supported with AI, allowing us to experiment with the likeness of the duo, before landing on a final label design. We even tested training a LoRA on Snoop’s handwriting, which opened up a new avenue where we could shape a handwritten version of his tribute to resemble Tupac himself. Thank you to Treasury Wine Estate and their in-house agency Splash for the opportunity to work on this project, which was overseen by our resident artist Simon Cowell, and approved by Snoop himself. With this exclusive release, fans around the world are invited to Pour A Little Out. In this new collaboration with creative director Tomoyuki Kato and Dentsu Live, we created a one-minute interlude film projected across a 91-meter ultra-wide panoramic screen, a circular surround display, and individual screens throughout the space. We were initially briefed on the concept for the entire epic TOYOTA booth, and we were deeply involved in developing the interlude film concept together from the start. Our goal was to visually convey the journey behind the design of each mobility, while solving complex technical challenges posed by the unique screen configuration and booth layout. With a unique brief came unique challenges. T&DA leveraged Blender’s fast GPU rendering for rapid iteration across the 35,000-pixel-long screen. Inspired by the design process itself, we merged art and engineering, integrating the TOYOTA design team’s original sketches into a dynamic narrative. Each design blossoms into a vibrant vignette, collectively forming an immersive wall-art experience that amplifies the spotlight on TOYOTA’s bold new concept vehicles, art and engineering at the ultimate stage. It was truly a collaborative project, working closely with the TOYOTA design team and Tomoyuki Kato, which made it so unique. The piece wrapped around the entire booth, weaving between other concept films and adding an extra sense of unification and continuity to the overall “TO YOU TOYOTA” experience. T&DA handled every aspect of visual production, from the original concept design to animation and final compositing, crafting a visual journey that celebrates TOYOTA’s spirit of creativity and innovation. We are proud to share that our latest macroscale audio-visual installation has just landed at Kai Tak Sports Park, produced in collaboration with Leo Hong Kong. This landmark project transforms the ceiling of the 100-metre West Bridge into an immersive digital canvas, presenting a two-minute cinematic experience for visitors. The installation is engineered to engage audiences from an overhead perspective as they traverse the bridge, taking them on a narrative journey through the intertwined heritage of Cathay Pacific and its home, Hong Kong. To realize this vision, our team employed a hybrid production workflow that seamlessly integrates live-action cinematography, capturing the dynamism of modern-day, Cathay-sponsored athletes, with world class CGI and VFX, to create key historical cityscapes, environments and hero assets like the Cathay Pacific aircraft.
