these pants can be worn high waisted or low waisted, depending on how you decide to hem them! this makes them ultra comfy for wheelchair users or seated positions. especially because of the elastic waistband and drawstring that allows for extra adjustments.

some things i’ve worked on for the pattern lately:
💕 adjusted the pocket height on all files
💕 created the US letter sized pdf file (my grader only provided A4 and A0 files)
💕 redid the instructions format to be easier to read and more printer friendly if you like to print your written instructions
💕 tested the US letter pdf file irl
💕 started getting tester photos and feedback!!
i only have 2 things left to change with the instructions and then the pattern will be out in the world! i’m planning for this week :)

UPDATES:
If you don’t follow me on personal accounts, then you don’t know that I’m currently going through a (suspected) ME/CFS crash. I’m a disabled person with multiple chronic illnesses and chronic pain, all of which can be so unpredictable and hard to manage. For the past 3 weeks I’ve been in a crash that first started when I began pursuing the TEDDY LOUNGE PANTS pattern. I was running off pure adrenaline and then about a week ago now, I hit a wall of deep fatigue, flu like symptoms, and other ME related crash things. I’m struggling to walk due to extreme weakness, so I’ve been needing my power chair full time again. I’m sleeping most of the day, and If I’m not sleeping, I’m still just in bed because I’m exhausted.
Because of this, the pattern testing phase for the Teddy’s got delayed.
I still plan on sending out emails to testers this weekend, to inform you that you’ve been selected and can move forward with testing of the pattern if you’re still wanting to.
It’s still my goal to release this pattern, but it likely won’t be until May rather than April now. Im sorry for anyone this disappoints. Please just know I’ve been so so ill.
Regular sewing content will be resuming as possible. I’m not sewing much because of my crash. But I’m trying to still be present here.

This Upcycled quilt pair of Teddy’s are on Etsy now!
size small:
• waist: 29” - 30”
• hip: 38.5” - 39.5”
Prewashed quilt with a small stain in the waistband that didn’t come out (might be able to come out with a stain remover, I just haven’t tried.
These are on the thicker side because of the polyester batting in between the fabrics.

These came out SO cute and I’m obsessed with the new fit of the teddy’s.

The Designer vs The Pattern!
I get the finished file from my grader tomorrow of the Teddy’s! I made one last tweak to the pattern before I sent it off and it was sorta a shot in the dark because I didn’t test the tweaks before sending my grader the file. I just trusted my knowledge and it’s turning out even better than my past pairs!
The fit is slightly baggier than before which creates a more dramatic bloomer effect which I love!
