There’s plenty of ways to include football into your wardrobe. Sometimes, jerseys are best worn on your head. Images from our collaboration with Georgina Hunt — should we do round two?

Outtake from MATCH DAY, our launch editorial. Shin guards may not be as popular nowadays but there’s a specific feeling associated with dropping your sock and revealing that print.

We’ve been quiet on here cooking up some exciting new projects and taking a minute to reflect on what we’ve already brought to life.

A visual representation of building systemarosa from the ground up.
It took days, months, years of sweat (but no tears) to create a space that is highly intentional, centers a female point of view—yet welcomes all—and is deeply rooted in research, cultural nuance and a vast knowledge of both the fashion and football landscape.
This vignette, part of our very first editorial “MATCH DAY”, is a reminder of how we have worked hard to achieve an aesthetic that not only represents our founders’ ideas and vision, but also prove that it is possible for football to be truly beautiful.
systemarosa’s jerseys may not get you Madulikah’s incredible mane, but in the words of Justin (one of our best customers)…they will get you laid.
Football jerseys have become a hot commodity over the past few years. Vintage ones even more so. For us, it’s more about celebrating the silhouettes and craftsmanship of those pieces which didn’t make it to the professional stage. Our research and selection focuses on delivering collections that look and feel timeless, even for those who may feel ambivalent about modern football but still appreciate the beauty and power of the game.
Our hometown of New York may still be in the grip of ice, but the cold won’t stop us from delivering hot goods from our latest drop. Our vintage knit jerseys make for the perfect base layer and our track tops will keep you warm without compromising on style.
Collection 6 is now up and ready to go on our web shop. The hot pieces are going fast—you know what to do.
Ps. Please beware shipping may be delayed by the snow storm that’s affecting NYC at the moment.
Remember when we said hold on tight for the next collection? We weren’t playing. Here’s the first look—dropping tomorrow. Shipping may be delayed due to the incoming storm.
It’s been a while since we teased you with our goods. Turn your notifications on and subscribe to our newsletter because a juicy new collection is dropping soon. Here’s a little preview of what’s to come, enjoy the details now because you will be mindblown later.
It’s been a few weeks since we opened our first exhibition “DAUGHTERS”. Our goal was to celebrate the last generation of girls who grew up excluded from the played game (and often as fans as well) and the many creative ways they used to channel their love for football anyways. We can safely say we did just that!
We couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved as this is our biggest, fully self-sustained international project, especially in a city that is not our home base. Many thanks to the team that supported us in making this dream come true, and the artists that entrusted us with their art. Where to next?
