Day 2 Dissemination – Intercultural Cooperation for Sustainable Society Development
On 29 April 2026, System and G, within the framework of the EID – Empowering Inclusive Democracy project, successfully completed the second day of the event “Intercultural Cooperation for Sustainable Society Development” at the Municipal Library of Komotini.
The highlight of the day was the insightful speech “Contemporary challenges to democracy and political participation”, delivered by Mr. Vassilios Grammatikas, Associate Professor of International Law and Director of the Institute of Geopolitical Analyses at the Democritus University of Thrace. The session provided valuable perspectives on current democratic challenges and emphasized the importance of active civic engagement.
Participants had the opportunity to engage in discussion, reflect on key issues affecting democratic processes, and exchange views on how to strengthen participation at local, national, and European levels.
The event concluded with the dissemination of the EID project, highlighting its objectives, activities, and contribution to promoting inclusive democracy, civic participation, and social inclusion across Europe.

Day 1 Dissemination – Intercultural Cooperation for Sustainable Society Development
On 28 April 2026, System and G, within the framework of the EID – Empowering Inclusive Democracy project, successfully organized the first day of the event “Intercultural Cooperation for Sustainable Society Development” at the Municipal Library of Komotini.
The first day featured the interactive activity “Human Library”, where participants engaged in meaningful discussions, shared personal stories, and exchanged perspectives on inclusion, democracy, diversity, and active citizenship.
This unique experience encouraged empathy, challenged stereotypes, and promoted intercultural dialogue among members of the local community.
The event also included the dissemination of the EID project, presenting its objectives, activities, and expected impact in strengthening inclusive democracy, civic engagement, and social participation across Europe.
We would like to thank everyone who participated and contributed to the success of the first day of the event.
We are excited to continue with the second day of activities, including the speech on “Contemporary challenges to democracy and political participation.”

🌍✨ Study Visit in Latvia | Youth Forward Project
From 14–18 April, we successfully completed our study visit in Latvia 🇱🇻 as part of the Youth Forward: Inclusion, Engagement, and Opportunity project!
This experience focused on youth entrepreneurship and digital skills, bringing together youth workers, trainers, and young entrepreneurs from Greece and Latvia.
💡 What did we achieve?
– Participated in hands-on workshops on entrepreneurship & digital tools
– Visited startups, incubators & innovation hubs
– Engaged in inspiring discussions with experts and young entrepreneurs
– Explored sustainable and socially-driven business ideas
🤝 Through this exchange, we strengthened our knowledge, built meaningful connections, and enhanced our capacity to support young people in shaping their future.

Η System and G σας προσκαλεί στην εκδήλωση “Intercultural Cooperation for Sustainable Society Development”, που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 28 και 29 Απριλίου 2026, στη Δημοτική Βιβλιοθήκη Κομοτηνής, από τις 16:30 έως τις 18:00.
Μέσα από δράσεις διαλόγου, ανταλλαγής εμπειριών και ενημέρωσης, η εκδήλωση εστιάζει στη διαπολιτισμική συνεργασία, τη δημοκρατική συμμετοχή, την κοινωνική ένταξη και τη βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη της κοινωνίας.
Στις 28/04, οι συμμετέχοντες θα λάβουν μέρος στη δράση Human Library, μια βιωματική διαδικασία που δίνει χώρο σε προσωπικές ιστορίες, εμπειρίες και διαφορετικές οπτικές.
Στις 29/04, θα πραγματοποιηθεί ομιλία με θέμα “Contemporary challenges to democracy and political participation” από τον Βασίλειο Γραμματικάκη, Αναπληρωτή Καθηγητή Διεθνούς Δικαίου στο Δημοκρίτειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θράκης.
Και τις δύο ημέρες θα παρουσιαστούν επίσης τα αποτελέσματα του ευρωπαϊκού έργου EID – Empowering Inclusive Democracy.
Σας περιμένουμε για να συζητήσουμε, να ανταλλάξουμε ιδέες και να συμβάλουμε από κοινού σε μια πιο συμπεριληπτική και δημοκρατική κοινωνία.

During 14-18 April 2026 Sistēma un G Latvija hosted debates in gaps of CERV -CITIZENS-CIV “EID”
This was the final debate of the project named “The Future of Europe: Give Europe a face.”
EID is a 24-month multi-country project aimed at enhancing civic engagement and promoting inclusive
policies across the European Union.
The project hosts 5 major events in Greece, Latvia, Romania, and Portugal, focused on themes such as
Inclusive Democracy, Civic Engagement, Media Literacy, Gender Equality, and Community Building.

Empowering Inclusive Democracy aims to leave a lasting impact by strengthening the capacity of
citizens and policymakers making the democratic processes in the EU more inclusive.
Debate in Latvia:
This was the final debate of the project delivered in Latvia on 14-18 April, 2026 with the title: The Future of Europe: Give Europe a face.
The debate gathered 30 people where in formal and informal way we discussed the topic to solicit views and thoughts on the EU and its future, thereby informing and enriching the curriculum with stakeholders and decision makers participation!

💾 At the core of the training was a reflection on new forms of control in public space, both digital and non-digital, approached from a rights-based perspective. The group explored topics such as biometric surveillance through AI tools, the collusion between Big Tech and governments in the extraction of private data, the GDPR, and the concrete impact these processes have on people’s lives and on the quality of democracies.
Through non-formal methodologies EYES shaped a shared learning process and opened up a reflection on hacktivism and hacker pedagogy as practices capable of generating awareness and agency.
The training was designed by Maghweb in collaboration with Vallis Colapis, elKambio, Sojovem, SystemandG, and Aryas, within the framework of ExChange 2025, the educational initiative that brings young people and youth workers from across Europe into dialogue, supported by the Agenzia Italiana per la Gioventù.

EYES ha riunito youth worker e attivist3 da Italia, Portogallo, Croazia, Spagna, Grecia e Romania per una formazione internazionale sulle nuove forme di controllo nello spazio pubblico.
Al centro del training, una riflessione sulle nuove forme, digitali e non, di controllo nello spazio pubblico, affrontata da una prospettiva basata sui diritti. Il gruppo ha approfondito temi come la sorveglianza biometrica attraverso strumenti di intelligenza artificiale, la collusione tra Big Tech e governi nell’estrazione dei dati privati, il GDPR e gli impatti concreti che questi processi hanno sulla vita delle persone e sulla qualità delle democrazie.
Attraverso metodologie non formali EYES ha dato forma a un percorso di apprendimento e aperto una riflessione su hacktivism e pedagogia hacker come pratiche capaci di generare consapevolezza e capacità di azione.
La formazione è stata ideata da Maghweb in collaborazione con @lagvalliscolapis , @asociacionelkambio , @associacaosojovem , @systemandg e Aryas, nell’ambito di ExChange 2025, l’azione educativa che mette in dialogo giovani e animator3 da tutta Europa, sostenuta dall’Agenzia Italiana per la Gioventù @agenziagioventu

Το τμήμα Πληροφορικής του ΣΑΕΚ ΔΥΠΑ επισκέφθηκε τον χώρο μας, καθώς και το Youth Digital Center, το οποίο συνλειτουργούμε σε συνεργασία με τη System & G Greece.
🎯 Στόχος της συνάντησης ήταν:
• η ενημέρωση των σπουδαστών για τις δράσεις και τις ευκαιρίες του Exagono
• η γνωριμία με το Youth Digital Center και τις δυνατότητές του
• η διερεύνηση ενός πλαισίου συνεργασίας στον τομέα της απασχόλησης και της ανάπτυξης δεξιοτήτων
✨ Η συνάντηση εξελίχθηκε σε έναν ουσιαστικό διάλογο με ιδέες, προτάσεις και κοινό όραμα για τη στήριξη των νέων στον ψηφιακό και επαγγελματικό τους δρόμο.

Something exciting is taking shape… 👀
Over the past days in Budapest, part of our facilitation team came together to start designing what will become the Youth@Work Flagship Conference of 2027.
We’ve been working on shaping an experience that is empowering, meaningful, and inspiring, a space for old and new participants, colleagues, friends, curious minds, and doers to connect, learn, and celebrate everything we’ve built together over the years.
This was just the beginning. The steering team is already on it, setting the foundation for what’s to come… and trust us, it carries a strong entrepreneurial spirit ✨
We can’t share too much yet, but #TheRoadToBudapest has officially started for us, and soon it will start for you too.
