Here’s a 10 minute Beef steak sandwich recipe for those lazy days.
Marinate your beef steaks (Go for rump or sirloin steak for best results), I used @freddyhirschkenya * choma spices for this.
Lightly cook the steak for two minutes each side, slice, mix with the leftover compound butter and put it back on the skillet on one side.
On the other side of the pan make your onion relish, you can throw in green peppers. Nothing screams happiness more than a loaded sandwich.
Make your compound butter by mixing ground garlic, butter, salt and coriander and spread this on the toast.
Bring everything together, drizzle some cheese and melt this using a blow torch (optional)

What you need
• Fresh parsley
• Fresh oregano
• Red onion
• Red bell pepper
• Fresh chillies
• Garlic cloves
• Olive oil
• Vinegar
• Smoked extract (Got mine from @cookswelljikos
• Salt and ground black pepper
Let’s make the sauce
• Dice red onion into small cubes and soak them in ice water
• Finely chop the parsley and oregano (feel free to blend it lightly if you want a thick paste)
• Grill red bell pepper until slightly charred and finely chop
• Lightly grill garlic, then smash into a fine paste
• Finely slice fresh chillies
• Bring everything together
• Pour in olive oil, vinegar and salt
• Add a few drops of smoked extract (Optional)
• Stir everything until well combined
• Let it rest for 10–15 minutes in the chiller before serving
If you’d like this for chicken wings, just bring everything together and blend, then toss the chicken wings.
