I don’t know how but it’s already your birthday again. Thank you for another unforgettable, magical year together. Between school, work, friends, and family you’ve had so much on your plate, but through it all you kept pushing and doing your best and I’m so proud of you for that. No matter how hard things got you always put so much effort in to our relationship and continued being the best girlfriend I could have ever possibly dreamed of. You are selfless, you are beautiful, and you are strong. I am so honored to be your boyfriend, and I can’t wait to spend this day with you. I love you, Taryn.

It was a dream come true to finally have the opportunity to see Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas so I decided to make a little post commemorating the opportunity. Please excuse my ramblings.
I couldn’t have done it without my amazing friend Dai helping me enter the lottery to be eligible to purchase a ticket and subsequently helping me purchase the ticket itself, as both required a Japanese address and phone number. And if Taryn wasn’t with me I probably would have been overwhelmed by stress so I’m glad she was there to keep me sane haha! The festival itself was an absolute blast. I got a delicious Kölsch beer at Taiki’s famous beer tent, but unfortunately I went when he wasn’t there so I had to cheers to his cut-out in his place. However I did see him and Tetsuya walking toward the venue later in the day! The standing arena was absolutely insane, to the point where someone passed out so I and 3 other people had to carry him to the medical room in the venue. As thanks one of the venue staff members brought the 4 of us to the very front of the crowd, practically at barricade, but I was honestly too exhausted so I retreated out the venue to rest. Once FaLiLV started the crowd was too much for me to even concentrate on the performance so I ended up retreating to the seats. The set was absolutely amazing, though my personal highlights were Return to Zero, Get Back the Hope, Party Boys and Just Awake. So and Minami worked with the fashion brand Glamb to create custom designed shirts to wear at the festival, with only 100 additional copies each of the two designs being produced for purchase exclusively at Mega Vegas. I loved the designs but after watching the performance was even more convinced to buy one as a beautiful memento. Without seeing the subtly printed band logo on the back of the shirt you’d have no idea it was band merch at all. And of course I had to grab a handful of FaLiLV CDs, I was ecstatic to find their first 3 Albums and managed to get ahold of a Deluxe Version of their newest Album which includes a booklet featuring hand signed signatures of each of the band members inside. I hope I can get to see them again in the not too distant future!
