One of the biggest mindset shifts I’ve had over the last couple of years is realising that progress isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s the small things you don’t even think about that quietly keep your body stuck. Like constantly changing your workouts every week and never giving your body enough consistency to actually adapt. Or living in permanent “go mode” where your nervous system never really gets a chance to switch off. Even things like only ever training in one intensity can make a difference. Our hormones thrive on variation. Some phases of the cycle naturally support more strength and intensity, while others respond better to slower, more controlled movement. And honestly, I think one of the biggest ones now is how disconnected we’ve become from our own bodies. Tracking every calorie, every step, every metric… eventually you stop recognising your own hunger, energy, and recovery cues altogether. Real results come from creating an environment where your body actually feels safe enough to respond. That’s when things start shifting 🤍
