Sinoć smo u Uraniji zatvorili ciklus Arhitektura i glazba izvanrednim koncertom Ansambla Synchronos, uranjajući u prostore gdje se zvuk i arhitektonski koncepti isprepliću u novu osjetilnu geografiju.
Program je otvorio Marko Slaviček predavanjem o legendarnom Philips Paviljonu Le Corbusiera i Iannisa Xenakisa – primjeru gdje je arhitektura doslovno proizašla iz glazbene logike prostora.
Uslijedile su dvije snažne kompozicije hrvatskih autorica: Ivana Kiš – de profundis, zvučna vertikala nadahnuta sakralnom arhitekturom Svetog groba, i Laura Čuperjani – Liquid Space, istraživanje zvuka kao fluidne materije u stalnom preoblikovanju.
Gošća večeri Emma-Kate Matthews zatim je u razgovoru sa Slavičekom otvorila pitanje granica između arhitekture i glazbene kompozicije. Kako je istaknula: “U Betwixt & Between djelujem između disciplina - između arhitekture i glazbe, između prostornih linija i glazbenih struktura. Djelo stalno teži svojevrsnoj rezoluciji, ali je nikada ne postiže; to je i bila njegova polazišna ideja.”
Nakon toga, ansambl je rasporedio izvođače kroz cijelu dvoranu, pretvarajući Betwixt & Between u potpuno imerzivni prostorno-zvučni doživljaj.
Hvala svima koji su sudjelovali i pratili ovaj ciklus. Vidimo se uskoro u novim prostorno-zvučnim istraživanjima.

Treći i završni koncert Ansambla Synchronos iz ciklusa Arhitektura i glazba, otvara prostor promišljanja zvuka kao prostorne materije i arhitekture kao zvučnog događaja. U fokusu su tri praizvedbe skladateljica čiji radovi dekonstruiraju konvencionalne granice između forme, prostora i percepcije.
