From October 10 to 12, we are gathering together for the third edition of the BUILT/UNBUILT series under the theme “Pedagogies of Proximity and Relation: Prototyping Alternative Education.”The lab touches on a radical rethinking of architectural education, centering on shared knowledge and collaborative creative work. Developed in partnership with the Institute of Postnatural Studies, a research platform dedicated to contemporary artistic practices and revisiting the concept of nature, the session welcomes new conversations around how we learn and make together.Day 2 hosted at Palazzo Diedo – Berggruen Arts & Culture, the #SaudiNationalPavilion brings together participants and visitors to collectively shape an open dialogue on architectural education.For updates on the program, check @saudipavilion on Instagram!

On September 27–28, we gathered for “MATERIAL ECOLOGIES: Material Heritage and Rituals of Mitigation, Repair, and Reuse,” part two of the Saudi Pavilion’s public program.Developed in collaboration with Studio Ossidiana, this session investigated how material landscapes carry memory and meaning.Over the course of the gathering, we explored how local embodied ways of knowing can transform our understanding of matter, authorship, and the creative process itself.For updates on the program, check @saudipavilion on Instagram!
