Your body should feel strong, mobile, and capable not stiff, restricted, or fragile. The goal isn’t just aesthetics or performance. It’s building a body that moves well, feels athletic, and stays resilient over time. That’s what I’m trying to build through Sym8ry: strength, movement, and control working together as one system. #movementtraining #calisthenicsuk #bodycontrol #mobilitytraining #functionalfitness

The answer isn’t just more stretching. And it isn’t just more strength training either. Its often that the connection between strength, movement, control, and mobility is missing That’s why the body can feel powerful in some positions… but restricted in others. Inside Sym8ry, the goal is to rebuild strength and movement together , so the body works as one capable system again. #mobilitytraining #calisthenicsuk #movementculture #bodyweighttraining #movebetter

Often times people don’t feel stiff because they’re ā€œoldā€ or ā€œunfitā€. They feel stiff because strength and mobility are often trained separately or worse. Mobility is ignored completely. Over time, that creates a body that feels restricted instead of capable This is what I work on inside Sym8ry ...rebuilding strength and movement together so the body works as one system again. #calisthenicsuk #mobilitytraining #movementtraining #bodyweightstrength #shouldermobility

Slow reps expose alot of things Asymmetries, compensations etc All of which are feedback of your current body and its strengths and weaknesses Asymmetries are a normal part of our bodies and development and not something to be overly hung up on Compensations , again can be ok to a degree, its our bodies way of protecting us in the most part but they can also help us identify something that may need some work #athletictraining #movebetter #trainforlife #athleticmobility

Strength and Mobility can be paired together in one exercise if you think outside the linear patternised way of modern training and find an intent /goal to aspire to #sym8ry #strengthandmobility #StrengthAndMovement

Ive done These type of Long-duration rotatotor cuff isometrics since my shoulder issue a while back.. As an anecdotal subject , They can be amazing after heavier work because the nervous system is already fatigued so the rotator cuff has to maintain its structure under tired conditions . If you think of it as my Heavy main set work is to produce force and then my Long isometric makes me try to maintain the joint structure under fatigue. From my understanding and learning, The idea is to try to Increase tendon loading tolerance through sustained isometric tension ( but only if you can maintain and already have, the stability of the joint . This is important ..) Would love to hear anyones thoughts on this particularly if you use them and have experience using them or any other tips šŸ˜ #sym8ry #rotatorcuff #shoulderhealth

Using weight can help pull you deeper into your stretch if needed . And Certainly if you not making progress.. i swear by it . .. You just have to make sure you can control it so progress as you would any weighted exercise. You wouldn't throw 100kg on your first bench press ....well you shouldn't.... I need to abduct much more here upon reflection of this clip and keep knees strong #weightedmobility #horsestance #oscillation

This tyoe of lift shows your ability to produce force when you’re in a compromised position. Something Sym8ry and having strength and mobility combined really aspires to This is the kind of strength that actually carries over. The Scott Lift builds strength where most people are weakest (on the way up from the floor) It was named after a nurse who lifted a victim in this manner in order to save a life .
