Art Basel this year has been even more special. 1st ever Art Basel Awards. Hosted by Swizz Beatz, the awards were a new event celebrating the intersection of art and music. Presenters included A$AP Ferg, Khalid, and Fridayy, highlighting music’s role in the art world. Other highlights included several talks @refikanadol and other luminaries, Nouvelle Vagues chanteuse Liset and other fab singers. Fabulous artists and new friends like @grimanesaamoros and my new found art brothers @jeanreiminger @joekennedystill . Still ongoing but wanted to breathe, pause and etch these moments in timeless verses for memory’s sake. Alas, capturing these images and words in spaces like social media will have to do for now. Thanks @artbasel and @baselmiami for upping the game yearly.

Part 2 & 3 Sweden - better late than never. There should be 7 parts to this. From spending time with my Swedish family which I am always so grateful for ❤️ , which I got to share with my soul sister wife, to visiting the Vikings Parliament Stone Grounds in the middle of Järna, Sweden with the best guide Mats Ola…to swimming in long lake…What a special time. I love discovering with Mats Ola as he shows us the Anthroposophical grounds in Jarna which he has headed and shaped in more ways I can begin to explain here. He has been instrumental in the Anthroposophical Society in Sweden. I neede to learn so much about the Anthroposophical Society as a whole and continue to be stunned at how it links to my Spiritual Growth… The Anthroposophical Society, founded by Rudolf Steiner, focuses on spiritual growth through meditation and self-enquiry. Key points include: Spiritual Development: Anthroposophical meditation fosters spiritual growth, self-awareness, and connection to a higher self. Järna, is truly a hub for anthroposophical activities, and has contributed to the development of anthroposophical thought and practice, including biodynamic farming, Waldorf education, and curative education. Rudolf Steiner's work in Järna laid the groundwork for various anthroposophical initiatives, shaping the movement's approach to spiritual growth and holistic living. Thanks @olamats 🙏 💕

Sweden Part 1: Midsummer in 🇸🇪 Hölö which I consider home. Being with my Swedish family is always so special. Seeing how grown up my goddaughters are is truly priceless. Master Chef cooking is always amazing. Even cooked vickning which was to die for. During Midsummer in Sweden, a late-night or midnight meal is called a vickning. This “midnight meal” is often eaten to help guests sober up after a day of celebrating with snaps and beer. It may include leftovers from the main Midsummer feast or a simple dish like hot dogs 🌭 but not Master Chef. He made a feast! Also playing a song suggested by one of my Goddaughters, Miriam. The song is: Lys Pä Mig. It starts by saying “I am high above the water”…so true. It’s basically a poetic self reflection on identity, seen through water, memory and emotion. So perfect to encapsulate what I am feeling right now. Thank you for an incredible time! To many more. Wait til you see who joined for part 2..stay tuned.

Day 1 - Les Roches Reunion. What a celebration! Beautiful to see our teachers, old friends and meet new ones. The new alumni are amazing. Les Roches is killing it in every way. So much love. Dancing with friends from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, USA, France, Germany Australia…and the list goes on. Vintage Green was a one-of-a-kind experience on one of the largest rooftops in New York City. Blending the timeless charm of NYC parks with immersive entertainment, it welcomed guests into a playful world from the moment they stepped into the elevator. Park rangers greeted them with stories, secrets, and QR codes that unlocked augmented reality surprises. Once on the rooftop, guests explored a choose-your-own-adventure evening. Maybe they caught a magician in action, heard opera echoing through the air, or watched a Brooklyn breakdancer light up the floor. Some stumbled on a living statue, joined a picnic Tinder date surrounded by acrobats, or simply relaxed with a drink and the skyline as their backdrop. It was a night full of surprises, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Vintage Green wasn't just a rooftop.
