Langa is a traditional Hausa sport where two teams come together to play. It’s a hopping game where players stand/walk and run with one leg while holding the other leg with the opposite hand(Lago). This game is usually played by children under the age of 15 and as fun for elderly people. It is a traditional heritage and one that builds connection and a nonviolent game despite its mode of play.
Before the game starts there’s usually a “Ruwa”, a player each team choose and decide to protect by all cost to enable him reach the other team’s post to win…
