🥳 happy anniversary to @socio.hk ! i had the pleasure of interviewing @drinksbyamir for a uni project (video that is to be released soon..) on sustainability in the bartending industry, and was welcomed with so much warmth, having got to taste some of their menu and go behind the scenes of how socio recycle their ingredients.
my personal favourite from the three i tried was milk: super creamy and sweet - which i consider absolute necessities as someone who likes cocktails but kind of dislikes alcohol in general (tough world out here). the crunchy milk curd crisp also brought a fun texture; i had lots of fun eating and sipping the puff pastry drink for that same reason
my friend that i came with loved the fries one. you really wouldnt expect fries-distilled vodka to work in a drink whatsoever but it did! it was nice and spicy, and gave me all the more reason to go back and forth between all the drinks to balance out all the flavours lol
🖍 these illustrations are to commemorate how much fun i had at socio and thus a small token of gratitude in lieu of their 2 year anniversary week special - i highly recommend everyone in hk to sample their stuff. their menu changes according to whats in season, so theres always something new to look forward to!!
