I think peace is in the stillness of my breath, in the space between each thought, like the space between cars on the highway.
I forget to look at it.
My attention is drawn to the lights, to the windows and the wheels instead of the emptiness between me and the car,
to the stars instead of the distance between me and them.
I like things like this because it trains me to use my brain in refreshing ways, I start to feel more creative and in touch with myself.
Trying to become a successful artist and make change seems next to impossible and I can get extremely down on myself but paying more attention to giving space everyday helps me get through it.
