Feeling very over the moon🌙 with gratitude… and LOVE of course… for this past Thursday’s second tribute show to honor our beloved boys, who helped make our community so strong in life— as well as afterlife. 🪽❤️🩹
I want to extend personal gratitudes to @swspresents , @redrumimage , @deadringer_reno — as well as each dj, direct supports and live artists that came together for this special night. 🛰️🦴
With door donations and online donations from the GoFundMe, we were able to reach our goal to get Christian & Jake a locally placed plaque right here in the heart of Reno. 🥹 It is such a blessing, bearing witness to those who hold their love & strength with integrity, as well as exemplify it in their art, passions and the local music culture.
The rest of this album will be uploaded and shared to Facebook soon. We will also share updates there in regard to the plaque, we can’t wait 🫂

C’mon bring your friends💛… for a special night of bass, tribute, and love. This April 30th we will be honoring two beloved individuals who heavily influenced Reno’s local music and arts community. This will be our second benefit show held in their memory, and we are asking for $10 suggested door donation. Proceeds from the first tribute show were raised for continual production of Christian Alicea’s life’s works. With this, will have prints and various media of his as well as other artists work available to help support the cost of a memorial plaque placed locally here in Reno via the city. 💜
We also seek to continue to inspire the community they loved so much and fuel the
ideals of chosen family, authentic expression of self, and cultivating a safe atmosphere for the propulsion of this expression and collaboration within our arts and music community.
For the boys is now and forever, we can’t wait to share in more meaningful memories and experiences this April 30th

@balloonzbass is an artist originally from Santa Cruz. In the local scene there he provided support for many events and renegades with his old company Sleepless Society.
