The city’s annual, two-part Memorial Day commemoration begins at 1:30 p.m. May 17 with a ceremony on the University of Delaware Green. The ceremony will include the presentation of flags and patriotic music.
Following that, the Memorial Day parade will begin at 2 p.m. with marchers representing military units, veterans’ groups, schools and community organizations parading down Main Street.
