To know me was to know her.
Many of you have watched us grow up together, and I want to share that Goose’s death was just as tender as she was.
My gift to her was to let her go out on a high note- a five-day love-fest of friends, laughter, food, cuddles and community- which turned out to be her final gift to me.

eleven years since my mom died. eleven years of grief and madness and joy and laughter in her honor. I like to spend her anniversary being a good mom to my dog and to myself. sharing my process around her death has been a tribute to her bravery and I’m forever grateful for all the love and support. there is no easy way to navigate loss but it can be less hard when we have community, thank you for being my witness.
