For the last 5 years we have been working on a product we couldn’t share, but it’s finally time for that to change. A couple photos from our Okuma Tour - amazing to see the development from Noodle Machines in 1898 to NC Machines in 1959 and all the way into the latest OSP 500 control in 2023. Hard to imagine what we will be using in another 65 years.

During our visit to Japan to see Okuma we stayed a few extra days and went to the Toyota Museum of Industry and Technology which showcased Toyota’s history, starting with their origins in the Textile Industry through to their modern Auto manufacturing processes. Without a doubt, one of the coolest museums I’ve ever been to. So many machines under power and with an incredible emphasis on education.

Sadly we can’t show the part, but even without the stock the HD’s dynamic motion is wild to watch. Kind of surreal to be walking through the shop seeing machines hum away without being personally involved. It’s a little bitter sweet to not be as involved in the day to day machining but I also know it means we are growing. Wonderful to be surrounded by such a great team.
