🎭 Masks in the Library – Short Film by Bob Karper
A glimpse into the final day of our 3-day mini project exploring mask acting, created in collaboration with SouthWestFest.
Participants discovered Larval masks from Switzerland and Dendê’s own masks – “The Family” – bringing characters to life through play, movement, and imagination.
This project was part of our regular 55+ drama group at Pimlico Library:

🗣 Dodie Finamore will be stepping down as Festival Director at the end of December
We are incredibly grateful to Dodie for her dedication to our work and the local area for the last 7.5 years, and we wish her well with her new endeavours!
🌱 Dodie started as our Coordinator in 2018, and has been our Director since 2021. She has steered the charity through difficult times, developed fantastic programmes and will be sorely missed
From Dodie: ‘Working for the Festival has been such a rewarding part of my life, I am ready for a change but I will miss south Westminster! We have new plans incoming and I’m excited to prepare these for new leadership who will continue and develop our powerful impact locally.’
