After much thought and lots of discussion , we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Memorial Day Weekend Motofest.
This fall, winter and spring have been incredibly dry, and between the lack of rain and the wear from the few practices we’ve had, our grass pits are really struggling — crunchy, patchy, and in desperate need of recovery time. After 29 years of lovingly caring for our grass pits, we’re simply not willing to risk turning them into dirt pits. Memorial Day Weekend brings a lot of traffic, and we feel that pushing through without giving the grass a chance to recover could do lasting damage we may not be able to undo.
Rather than wait and cancel at the last minute — with the band, food vendors, shirts, track help, and so much more already in motion — we felt it was important to let everyone know now so you all have the opportunity to make other plans for the holiday weekend.
We are praying for rain! Once we get some good moisture and the pasture has had a chance to bounce back, we plan to have you all out for Sunday practices. We truly can’t wait.

We are so excited 🤩 to be partnering with the Kids Cup Race Series you all know and love to bring you a special pop-up event 🍿 at Sweney Cycle Ranch this Memorial Day weekend 🇺🇸
We had an awesome meeting with Shawna, and we’re all fired up to bring this event back for all the kids who love to race! 🏁🔥
The Kids Cup race will take place on Sunday, May 24th. If you’re not familiar with the Kids Cup, it’s a race dedicated to the little in our moto community! There will be classes for the little Strider riders, Stacyc rippers, and moto bikes all the way to 65s!

We’re also adding face painting 🎨 and bounce houses 🎈 for the littles, so there’s fun for the whole family! It’s going to be an absolute blast 💥
