At sweetspot you'll get to experience a couple of songs/stories, look at the places of the performance through the window and sip tea.Â

Time: 3-4 times in between 4-6pm. One time takes 15-20 mins.

Performanssi: Pouring hard or hardly pouring? (Tea Time Edition), tekijÀ PÀÀsky Miettinen
Pouring hard or hardly pouring? on alunperin Kruununhaan rantaan tehty luentoperformanssi, josta toteutetaan nyt teehetken kokoinen maistiainen sweetspotin keittiössĂ€.

Loverbeibin lesbinen lipsync plays with stereotypes of lesbian imagery and experience. As a queer practice rooting in nightclubs, Drag- and Ballroom cultures, lipsync represents minoritiesÂŽ fantasies and desires to be included, by commenting, bending, changing and celebrating stereotypes and the weird position they hold in society. In her set, loverbeibi interprets lyrics and atmospheres of chosen queer songs through her multiple side characters â yet to be revealed.Â
Duration: 60min
Languages: Finnish and English
Place: Sweetspot
The performance can be followed by sitting, standing or lying down and you can arrive and leave during, if needed. The gig-like set contains multiple short breaks. There will be earplugs available. The space is not huge, so letÂŽs make space for each other, so everyone gets to enjoy the show <3
The show is flirtatious and contains sexual tones.
Welcome <3: Tuulia

loverbeibin lesbinen lipsync leikittelee lesbokuvastoon ja kokemuksiin liittyvillĂ€ stereotypioilla. Yökerhoista, Drag- ja Ballroom kulttuureista juurensa juontava lipsync edustaa vĂ€hemmistöjen fantasioita ja haluja tulla nĂ€hdyksi; kommentoiden, venyttĂ€en, muuntaen ja juhlien sstereotyyppejĂ€ ja niiden kummallista asemaa yhteiskunnassa. Keikkakokonaisuudessaan loverbeibi tulkitsee valitsemiensa queer biisien lyriikoita ja tunnelmia sivuhahmojensa kautta â sellaisten, jotka odottavat paljastumistaan.
Kesto: 60min
Kieli: suomi ja englanti

Where is home in the unknown?
A three-day creative exploration between 31 March â 2 April 2026 (17:00â20:00) at Sweetspot, Haapaniemenkatu 7â9B, Helsinki
What makes us feel at home? How do we respond to longing in unfamiliar places? How can we care for and support one another? In a world shaped by displacement, climate crisis, conflict, and rapid change, the idea of home is shifting. It may no longer be only a fixed place, but something more fluid or even mobile, carried through memories, bodies, and relationships.
We invite you to âWhere is home in the unknown?â, a three-day creative exploration where we will reflect on the idea of home through shared discussions, movement, images, mapping, writing, and drawing. Rather than defining home, we want to create a space where different experiences of belonging can be shared.
Facilitated by Gesa Piper, Venla Kotilainen, and Nicolina Stylianou.
Co-organised by Noise Traffic, Catalysti ry, Free Movement, and TIAN.
Participation is free and no prior experience is needed. Tea, coffee, and snacks will be available, and during the final session we will share a meal together.
The workshops will be held mainly in English, with possible translation in Finnish, Greek, and German. No prior experience is needed to participate.
We encourage participants to join all three days to build a shared and supportive space, though you are welcome even if you cannot attend every session.
