JAM Session, still in session 🎧🍯
For Reggae Music Month, JAM continues the playlist series with a mix curated by @deejayanash .
Anash is a Kingston-based DJ, cultural curator, and event producer known for her smooth transitions, thoughtful mashups, and selections that move effortlessly between traditional and contemporary Jamaican sound. As the founder of BlenUp Events and BlenUp Radio, she creates spaces rooted in community, storytelling, and cross-cultural connection — celebrating the richness of Caribbean music both at home and abroad.
This playlist reflects her world: grounded in reggae and dancehall, layered with afrobeat energy, and built for movement.
Listen to her JAM Playlist via @spotify at the link in our bio.
To celebrate Reggae Music month, we are excited to draw from archival content and present the first 20 pages of Reggae Quarterly (Vol 1., Issue 3), a publication launched in the 80’s by Beth Lesser highlighting Reggae music, artists and creatives that have shaped the genre and it’s legacy.
In this issue, you can dive deep into stories on @sisternancy , @barringtonlevy411 and @officialaugustuspablo on @rockersinternationalja
Enjoy! 🍯🌺✨
It’s a sweeet JAM Valentine 🍯🌺✨
JAM presents a romantic bouquet curated by floral artist and storyteller Monique of @stemandstorystudio , right here in Kingston, Jamaica.
@mysticalmuneek is a floral artist and storyteller whose work explores flowers as a language — a way to express love, softness, strength, and everything in between. Through Stem & Story Studio, she creates pieces that feel emotionally rich, intentional, and deeply personal.
Her journey into floristry began organically, shaped by a childhood surrounded by nature and the quiet influence of her grandmother’s green thumb. What started as a love for creating with her hands grew into something more meaningful. Flowers became a love language, and her work now invites others to experience that same sense of connection.
For this Valentine’s arrangement, she brought together pink roses, snapdragons, cascading amaranthus, firecracker celosia, purple orchids, spider mums, anthurium, and mini carnations to create something expressive and full of movement.
