This was not just a sweet treat at the end of the night, it was an art piece on display and the centerpiece for the reception.
When I look at wedding cake I am reminded of my earliest ties and the foreshadowing of my career in weddings. My mother taught cake decorating classes back in the day, and some of my earliest exposure to this industry was watching my mom bake and decorate cakes for the ones she loved. Eating scraps and playing with icing tips will forever be a core memory of mine and when it came to picking a baker in Tulsa I knew I wanted Angela!
From the tasting at her kitchen table to changing my last name to Baker, the sentiment of wedding cake lives on!
I didnât want my family to lift a finger on my wedding day, and thanks to sweet friend-ors like Angela it still tasted like a slice of home!
