Mi boy turned 3 yesterday 🥺 He is absolutely wild and tests my patience, and, he’s loving, hilarious, protective, and insanely smart. Life is better with this little dude, and I love him to bits 💙
Also, he’s now a Colorado dog. 🐾⛰
This looks like the face of a pupper scheming up a prank on some poor stranger. I think I’ll sleep with one eye open tonight. 👁 ;)

While many of us regain a sense of “normalcy” and comfort, many will be unable to do the same indefinitely. ❄️ Kai has requested to put a hold on “Sweet Boy Kai” and would like to be referred to as “Snow Dog Kai” until further notice. Texas got more of that white stuff again (6 inches!) and he is not mad about it. 🐾😉

🤍Hoping all of our Texas friends are warm and safe. So much power has been lost throughout the state. Our power was out for a little while yesterday but has since returned for now, and pipes have frozen preventing running water. Life is so unpredictable these days, but our collective adaptability remains.
Human here 👋🏽 Anyone else been full of hope lately? I honestly took probably my first breath of relief in a while since Biden took over. Not only are swift changes being made in the office to actually support the wellbeing of human beings (I use simple terms because that is simply what it comes down to), but the rise of people (many of them young) using their voices, platforms, and skills to foster injustice awareness and do good, and seeing the rise of people from all over the world supporting those groups/individuals, is just heartwarming. Strangers joining forces and rooting for each other are what make me take a moment to appreciate the good that does exist in the world. Just feeling particularly grateful to be living in a time where people are speaking openly and making noise for what’s right. Here are a few favorites in no particular order that I’m following from my personal account. Memories from Got Kai Day!
One year ago today, life changed for the better. I always thought it sounded like a silly exaggeration when dog-obsessed people would say that they cry at the sight of puppies, and then I found myself crying at how pure and cute and sweet Kai was when I held him for the first time. It felt so surreal after having wanted a dog for so long, and then finally holding the most beautiful pup that I’d been preparing for for months.
This journey has been something special, and it’s just the beginning. Please enjoy these clips from the day Kai (formerly known as Baby Shark) came home 💙🐾
🌿We spent the first morning of 2021 on a beautiful hike to start the year on a rejuvenating note. 🌿
Also, somepuppy did amazing off leash and out of sight despite this human being very nervous about letting him fully spread his wings (tail?) Lol videos are up in stories.
