It is hard to believe that today Mechanics on a Mission, Godspeed in partnership with the iconic Loveless Cafe and the Harpeth CarClub
gave away our 250th vehicle at the incredible Traffic Jam Car Show.
What an incredible and emotional moment as we handed the keys to the life-changing gift of transportation to Janisha, a hardworking single momma raising three boys. Stories like hers remind us why this mission matters so much. Reliable transportation changes lives. It creates opportunity, hope, stability, and a fresh start for families who need it most. Janisha was referred to us by Lisa Kruse Link and Holy Rosary St. Vincent de Paul, and we are so grateful for partners and friends who help us reach people in need throughout our community. Shoutout to
New Life Automotive for inspecting, diagnosing and making the needed repairs to this beautiful Toyota Highlander.
To every donor, volunteer, sponsor, repair partner, supporter, and friend who has helped make these 250 vehicles possible…THANK YOU! Every car represents a story, a family, and a reminder that when people come together with compassion, lives are changed. Today was special. God is so good! Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing mom. Mom, we love how you are always smiling and the joy you bring to every situation. You brighten up every roomjust by walking into it. Your kindness, your love for people, and the way you genuinely care about everyone around you is something really special.
You have always been there for us with encouragement, love, laughter, and a heart that never stops giving. We are so thankful for everything you have done for our family over the years and even more thankful for the person you are every single day. You have taught us so much and have lived being a Proverbs 31 mom, you surpass them all. We love you so much and are beyond grateful God gave us you as our mom. I hope today you feel celebrated and loved because you deserve it more than anyone. Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!

Shoutout to the Murfreesboro Breakfast Rotary Club and their incredible Boro BBQ Festival this past Saturday. What an incredible community event with AMAZING BBQ that raises needed funds and resources for non-profits and charities like Mechanics on a Mission. Not only does the MBR support Mechanics on a Mission but Don O'Guin Jr., Chris Copeland and Bob Gerard volunteer and serve with MoaM. These guys and MBR’s contributions are significant including leading the way for our vehicle title work!
What a powerful reminder this weekend at the Rutherford County JazzFest that when people come together with a shared purpose, lives are truly changed. Mechanics on a Mission and Godspeed had the incredible honor of gifting Derecia with the life-changing gift of transportation. So many of us can take that gift for granted, but for Derecia and her daughter (and a little girl on the way), it represents new opportunities, freedom, and a new path forward. This is more than a car, it is HOPE, stability and love in action.
None of this happens without so many incredible partners. We are so grateful to partner alongside Godspeed, Silver Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Nelson Mazda Murfreesboro, Tire World, Inc, and so many others who stepped up to make this moment possible. This is what it looks like to be part of something greater than ourselves, meeting real needs, restoring dignity, and reminding people they are seen and valued. Keep showing up, partnering together, and changing lives… one car at a time.
Love the incredible work of Chris and Elaine Whitney and
Onegenawayofficial as they wipe out hunger! Mechanics on a Mission is grateful to partner with One Gen.

Mechanics on a Mission loved joining
Walker Hayes Duck Buck Celebrity Golf Classic 2026. It was our third year partnering with Walker and Elite Events of Music City. This is one of our favorite events and our Mechanics on a Mission team led by John and Alex Mick finished 3rd in the 1st flight and our friends Tracy and Beth Barnett Cothran finished 2nd in the first flight (they actually only lost on a tiebreaker). We got to see so many friends including Beau and Sandy Grant Barnett, BIGG VINNY and so many others. Already looking forward to next year!
Incredible night at the Nashville Predators game as Mechanics on a Mission was recognized with 9 other incredible charities through the DEX Score and Win program.

Tonight is such a special night for Mechanics On A Mission!
We are incredibly honored to be recognized at the Nashville Predators game as part of the amazing Dex Imaging, LLC Score & Win program - truly one of the most fun ways to raise support, not just for Mechanics on a Mission, but alongside nine other incredible charities making a difference across Middle Tennessee.
We are so grateful for Mike and Stacy Leone and the entire DEX family for believing in our mission, and for Rebecca Ward King, Kristen Harris, and the Nashville Predators Foundation for creating unique opportunities like this that lift up so many organizations doing meaningful work.

What’s better than giving one car away, how about two life-changing car giveaways on the same day.
After blessing Cody at Nelson Mazda Cool Springs, Mechanics on a Mission headed to Christian Brothers Automotive.
A HUGE thank you to David Comer, Christine Wilson and the The Rotary Club of Franklin at Noon for partnering with us and sponsoring this special car giveaway. Because of their generosity, we had the incredible honor of giving the life-changing gift of transportation to Melanie from Oak Cottage for Women. Melanie, we celebrate you. Your courage, perseverance, and commitment to a new path are inspiring, and it is a privilege to be a part of your story. Enjoy your beautiful Honda Accord and the hope and freedom it brings.
Thank you to all who continue to support and believe in the mission of Mechanics on a Mission. Together, we are driving hope forward.
