Wow what a great day of competitive riding here at Swallowfield EC in our Trailblazers Championships second round qualifiers. The scores were so close and we saw some brilliant riding 🙌 Everyone who has qualified will be emailed on Monday and results sent to Sara at Trailblazers and forms for everyone who qualified. The top 8 juniors and top 8 seniors in each class go through to the championships at Addington Manor. We have some new evening Stressless dressage competitions this Summer starting on 2nd June. We have tweaked the dates as there were a few clashes with Solihull, so we hope you can join us on these dates instead. @darlowrosettes have made the beautiful @alignrider rosettes in Leonie’s branding and we are delighted she is sponsoring this series. All the schedules are online with long arena tests too so you can practice different tests than the usual short arena ones. Classes will start at 5pm so perfect for after school or work and especially if we have a hot Summer again when it’s difficult to ride during the day. Casual wear, BD tack and 2 bridle ( saddle pad numbers please). Hot and cold drinks and cake to purchase on the day so bring some change. BD judges and a friendly steward as standard 😉

Two livery spaces have come available from May. Fantastic facilities, lovely liveries and plus we are a BHS highly approved livery yard with professional highly qualified staff. We host lots of different clinics, camps, training and competitions to suit everyone on site and with our own club and onsite dog walking fields. We welcome all riders young and old from happy hackers and retirees - all more than welcome. Summer off road hacking and a new cross country course onsite plus quiet hacks to nearby Haywood. ⭐️CROSS COUNTRY EVENTS ARE BACK⭐️ We haven’t run hunter trials or one day events here at Swallowfield EC for years, so we are starting in May with some lovely 45cms and 60cms brand new cross country fences to school around our beautiful hay fields. We are opening two fields next week and a further three fields in June and July where our two water features, sunken road and logs will create a longer course incorporating 45 acres. The going is fantastic on old meadow turf, and is perfect even if you don’t want to jump - come and hire out and ride in private fields, off road with a friend and get your horses fitter and build in some canter work between events. We have allocated 30 minute slots for riders and there are lots of evening slots available from 4.30pm- 7.30pm for after school or work and on different dates including some weekends. May’s dates are live to book on the ARENA HIRE page of the website and slots are £15.00 pp and a £10 option to bring a friend. ⭐️DATES so far. Test judged with feedback. PART 2 ⭐️ a 30 minute paired gymnastic grid work session with Sarah Dale, BHS stage 3 coach. Sarah is a fantastic encouraging coach and riders will be paired from poles on the ground level to 80cms in our outdoor arena. £20 pp PART 3 ⭐️a 30 minute 1-1 taster session on Ebony the Equisimulator linking in the sessions with Jo and Sarah for all riders, dressage, SJ and eventing. Leonie Alldrick from Align Rider Solutions will be looking at your balance and weight distribution and how it affects your horse. £20 pp You may book which ever part of the camp you wish.
