📣 Big Announcement 1 year ago, @ozlemtuskan and I started a collaboration with an ambitious goal. To teach the world to trust their creative voice. The idea came from witnessing a painful pattern. We are broken. Striving for perfection in order to compete. Perfectionism disguised as productivity. Creators and leaders focused on, “what others are doing” and “external validation”. Losing their authentic creativity. Losing their self trust. No truth means no trust. No trust means no connection. No connection means no collaboration. No collaboration means no innovation. Since last year over 200 creators have embraced our philosophy. From students to entrepreneurs to established artists & designers seeking renewal. They’ve joined us from LA to London. And discovered the same truth. Trusting your creative voice is the foundation for everything. Which brings us to today. What began as a passion project has blossomed into something vital. We now offer a complete creative ecosystem of coaching, workshops and keynotes. As we’ve evolved, Trust Your Creative becomes the North Star for our entire mission. Thank you @zoltan_tasi for the amazing photography and building the website 🙏. Thank you @kat_kristof for the beautiful artwork 🙏

Getting pics taken for my new business…

I took a huge risk creating a new business. Financially poor, but rich in purpose. Over the last year, I’ve been strapped into the seat of the scariest roller coaster ride, it’s not Fury 325. It’s that big scary ‘business start up’ roller coaster ride 🎢 Thankfully I wasn’t alone, sitting next to me on this ride is my business partner @ozlemtuskan . Yep, financially very poor. It takes a HUGE amount of cash to build a business, boot strapping the entire way. Sleepless nights wondering how to pay the next invoice. However, rich in purpose. I thrive when I’m on stage delivering a keynote or a workshop to a large audience, knowing that I could be changing the lives of others - for the good. I also thrive when i’m coaching 1:1, it’s when i’m in creative flow. It’s where trust is built. Honest conversations are held. Tears are shed. Transformation happens. The ‘Creative Awakening’. ‘I worked with Susan to define my TRUTH. She guided me to refocus my intentions and vision for my future-creatively, professionally and personally’. ‘Susan is an incredible listener, constantly provides a safe and supportive space for reflection, best of all, I saw the results unfold in reality.’ This is my purpose. This is our purpose @trustyour_creative . 📸 @zoltan_tasi

INSPIRATIONAL WOMAN: Susan Walbrook, Co-founder of Trust Your Creative Ltd 💫 Susan co-founded @trustyour_creative with Ozlem Tuskan, a forward-thinking training and development company dedicated to helping individuals and organisations unlock their creative potential. Together, they help clients overcome imposter syndrome and self-doubt to nurture innovation and creative excellence. Their services include personalised coaching, engaging workshops, and customised organisational programmes that build creative confidence, resilience, and leadership skills. The partnership began when Susan and Ozlem met at a networking event, sparking a shared mission to explore imposter syndrome’s impact on creativity. Their research led to the white paper Creativity in Crisis, and inspired them to found Trust Your Creative Ltd to put these insights into practice. With 26 years as a Senior Womenswear Designer for major high-street brands, Susan’s creative expertise is vast. After burnout in 2018 caused by self-doubt and imposter syndrome, she left the industry to help others facing similar challenges. Since co-founding The Creative Space Coaching in 2020, Susan has supported creatives from top agencies and fashion houses like LVMH and YSL, helping them overcome perfectionism and regain confidence through coaching and workshops. In addition to coaching, Susan is a skilled speaker and mentor, specialising in creative mindset and overcoming industry barriers. She is also an Associate Lecturer at the University of the Arts London, London College of Fashion, where she shares insights on building confidence and resilience with emerging creatives. Susan shares our passion for championing female-founded businesses, firmly believing that “we’re better and stronger together.” When asked what advice she’d offer to aspiring entrepreneurs, her response is simple yet powerful: “Trust yourself.” And the best advice she’s ever received? “It’s about process, not outcome.” We’re honoured to have Trust Your Creative Ltd as a founding member of our WomenLed Collective ✨ Read more via the link in bio.

Imposter syndrome is not a flaw. It’s the doorway. Because self-doubt isn’t the opposite of leadership. It’s often the beginning of it. That quiet voice asking, “Am I enough?” It can also ask, “How can I grow?” 70% of people feel it. It’s not the exception - it’s the passage. And the leaders we trust most? They don’t pretend to have it all figured out. 1. They name the doubt. 2. They stay curious. They turn their questions into connection. 3. Ask more than you answer. Curiosity builds trust faster than certainty ever will. 4. Model reflection, not perfection. Leadership isn’t about having no doubts - it’s about what you do with them. 5. Turn your imposter into a guide. What fear points to, courage can claim. So if that inner voice is whispering again, don’t push it away. Listen. Learn what it’s really trying to protect. Then lead from that place - the honest one. ✨ At @trustyour_creative we believe your inner imposter isn’t your weakness. It’s your signal. Your depth. Your edge as a leader. And next month @theresilient_entrepreneur and I will be on stage at Women Inspiring Network Cannes exploring exactly that - alongside brilliant voices who’ve turned self-doubt into creative power.
