Apologies for the Corolla spam ☺️ 💛 It’s been so long I’ve had a chance to enjoy it like I did today 😁 A few clips chucked together from my helmet cam. It wasn’t ideal, I used a sucker mount on the inside but that wasn’t permitted, nor the GoPro mounted camera on the rear quarter 😐 Rules are rules 😐 First couple of laps, it was misfiring, a loose plug lead, I must have caught it while I was cleaning it yesterday. The rear tyres are SO old so never push it too hard, I did have a new pair ordered but they delivered 1 🤷🏻‍♂️ Car felt good, a few matters to deal with, I need to get towing eyes sorted. The new bumpers don’t use the originals, on the rear it’s now too short, the front I’ve to figure out 🤔 The rear top links have come loose again, they are in a pita location to get tight. Thread lock is next on the ‘to do list’. I’ve managed to find a pair of early indicators after searching for 7 years! They’ve yet to be fitted. I’d like to replace the @corolla_brotherhood sticker on the drivers side rear like before if possible Chay 😬 Rear number plates lights, question, do I fit the originals in the bumper? Or, use 12v LEDs above the plate? The interior needs a good clean, I have a selection of @autofinesse products for that job 👌🏽 I think a trip to @greggush_protuner is well over due, just to give her a once over as it’s been a LONG time since the @emeraldm3d was mapped. I’ve changed the turbo manifold and created better flow on the exhaust side since. My AE86 💛 I’ve had it for 20 years having bought it in 2006 🤯 A brief summary: I bought 💷 Yes it was cheap but it was in a sorry state 🥲 Stripped it, hand it sand blasted, the shell was scrap ❌ Bloke bought the shell just for the roof, no sunroof. Bought another shell off @crown_slam Spent a few years preparing it and sourcing parts from around the world 🌏 7 years later In 2013 I joined @teamjapspeed for a test session to drive it for the very first time in anger at Lydden and drove it like I’d stolen it 😁 I built it to drive it so it was never perfect and I never intended it to be. I span and got hit by a mk 1 Escort, I’ve repaired the rear arches more than I care to mention due to killing tyres. The laps at Rockingham Drift Days will live with me for ever, even when it snowed ⛄️ Hit @paddy_teamlegless and broke it a little (I’ve just found a correct pair of indicators Paddy, how many years searching) 😜 Ran laps with so many people over the years, @georgebarclay157 - I nearly had you 😆 @ollieevans_drift - Such a good time at Teesside! @zanegittins a ratio of his 4 laps to my 20 on a pair of tyres, he still spits feathers when we chat about that 😆 @darrenr33 aka ‘Princess’, full laps of Teesside are the one ☝🏽 @chivers112drifting nearly killing me and @belindachallispersonal at a Matsuri, that was scary 😦 The reason for this post, I haven’t seen the car for over a year 👀 I dropped it off at @rss_retrospeedshop after the Spring Drift Matsuri last year, for a full refresh and a body kit supplied by @epracing_ltd 🥰 Tomorrow I collect it ready for @retroridesevents this weekend at @goodwoodmotorcircuit Iain hasn’t sent me any photographs, so I’ve no idea what to expect, but knowing his work it’ll be amazing and I can not wait! #ae86 #corolla #bananagang #hachiroku #fresh

As most of you know, I love rc drifting as well as the full scale 👍🏽 Some of you think it’s a bit geeky and all that, but hey, I don’t like hobbies that only need 1 ball, you need 2 balls for what I like 😀 Over the weekend I organised an event along with Michael from MB Models, @daniel.ratraprc @gareth_ratraprc and the lads from @ratraprc 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼 The event was supported from Japanese manufacturers @teamyokomo - a huge step for rc drifting in the UK 🇬🇧 UK companies, @asbo_rc @sl1d3customs and media outlet @fps_rc_drift were all involved with the event ❤️ It was streamed across the world thanks to @rcracingtv who produced an impeccable production which can be found on their YouTube channel 👊🏽 I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the drivers and the companies involved, for putting your faith in us 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼 It was a year in the making, all to promote the hobby, for EVERY track that needs people to attend regular events to keep going. I’ll be honest, being a competition with a live stream, I wasn’t looking forward to it at all. The stress levels prior and during the event are 📈 Having said that, due to an incredible team, just like at my real drift events, we smashed it 💥 Those that didn’t get involved when you could, either driving or supporting, just remember, it’s YOUR track(s) that benefit. So when you’ve stopped listening to BS and Chinese whispers from people who have their own issues or agenda, you have my phone number. #drifting #respect

I’ve slowly been building a fresh shell as my @sl1d3customs A90 is getting a little rough around the edges and I don’t want to completely ruin it 👍🏽 This is a @teamreved / @rc.design_addiction Wonder S15 💛 I haven’t added all the little extra canards, splitter or arches that it came with as I wanted it to more of a plain Jane. I may put an intercooler on the front, it’s painted black at the moment to keep its strength. I’d love to put a dash in it for some in board footage, if anyone has one or knows where I can get one? 3D printed or lexan 🫶🏼 The number plate was a gift from @japmaddan 👊🏽 A few more bits to add, but it’s getting there. Mopeds for every occasion 🤪

Christmas 2025 was a little different to the norm 👀 Due to the number of events during the year, holidays can be difficult to plan, especially with school holidays etc. This Christmas we headed out to Vietnam 🇻🇳 for a trip starting in the South in Ho Chi Minh City, then travelling north by plane, over night train and boat to experience as much of their culture as possible. What an eye opener 👀 on one hand you had people selling anything to make a few dong (their currency) 100.000vnd being worth £3 People opening oysters, knee and elbow deep in mud, cleaning shoes, fixing mopeds. Then in the cities, all the big names like Cartier and Prada, plus some serious top end cars. Mopeds, OMG 87 million of the fuckers and they are used for moving just about anything ! I even saw a buffalo in trailer on the back of one! Fruit and veg, chickens, plants, wood, you name it 😲 Traffic is mental, size is king when driving. Crossing the road is taking your life in your hands, you just look for a gap and walk. You don’t look at what’s coming and they go round you 👀 something else ….. 🤪 Food was ok, lots of spring rolls 😋 So many experiences, awesome for my girls 🫶🏼 I hope everyone had a blast where ever you were or who ever you were with ❤️ Here’s just a few pics 🤳 #vietnam #holiday #christmas
