May Day is a reminder of what's possible when working people come together in the streets and demand what we deserve.
Our movements don’t end when the rally is over. We’re carrying the energy, solidarity, and determination from that day into every fight ahead—for worker power, immigrant justice, healthcare, housing, and elections that empower our communities.
The road ahead will take all of us, but together, we’re building the power to win. ✊ 🔥
Our community doesn't stay silent. Tomorrow we stand together against a proposed ICE facility in South County — and this is only the beginning.
Wednesday, May 14 | 10:30 AM | Santa Clara Government Center | 70 W Hedding St, San Jose
Community is invited. Join us.
At Story & King, San José showed up in full force this May Day—workers, families, and organizers taking the streets and making it clear: we deserve more, and we’re ready to fight for it! 📢
The energy was real, loud, and rooted in the power of people who refuse to be exploited or pushed aside.
No school. No work. No shopping.
TODAY, we’re showing what happens when workers withdraw the labor that keeps everything running. The system isn't working for us, so we have to refuse business as usual and stop working for the system.
People across the country are coming together to show that workers make everything possible, and we all deserve better.
This #MayDay, join an action near you!
This May Day, we honor the workers who built our movements—and the ones still fighting today. ✊
From gig drivers to fast food workers, from healthcare workers to organizers in our communities—working people everywhere are demanding dignity, fair pay, and real power on the job.
Join us this #MayDay to take a stand!

Last month, Fuerza Colectiva showed up strong at No Kings in San José—standing alongside community members, building connections, and growing our collective power. ✊🏽
Our team was out there to show up, talk with folks, share what we’re building, and invite more people into this movement. Because real change happens when we come together, build relationships, and take action side by side.
If we connected with you (or if you’re just looking to get plugged in), we’d love to see you at our upcoming Fuerza Colectiva BBQ on April 27! 🍔🔥
Come through to meet the community, learn more about our work, and be part of what we’re building together.

Last week, Fuerza Colectiva convened for another productive, activity-filled monthly meeting with members and allies.
We shared updates from our campaigns, exchanged strategies, and learned from each other’s experiences while building stronger connections across our organizing work. Many of our members are coming together from different campaigns and programs, and this meeting was a chance to learn more about gig work, flea market vendors, local organizing, and much more.
Our varied experiences make us stronger together. 💪
Every meeting is an opportunity to deepen relationships, share knowledge, and continue building collective power in our communities. Stay tuned for more details about our March 25th meeting!

NO ICE ON OUR HOME TURF MASS RALLY 📍 Cesar Chavez Park, San Jose ⏰ Monday, Feb 2 at 11:30 AM
The Super Bowl is coming to our community, and so is the threat of ICE.
While corporations spend billions celebrating, our neighbors are living in fear. Families are changing their daily routines. Parents are afraid to take their kids to school. Workers are scared to show up to their jobs.
We refuse to accept this as normal.
This Monday, we’re launching a week of action to send a clear message: The Bay Area will NOT be silent in the face of this terror.
Just like Minnesota stood up to protect their neighbors, we’re ready to do the same. Free NO ICE ON OUR HOME TURF MASS RALLY 📍 Cesar Chavez Park, San Jose ⏰ Monday, Feb 2 at 11:30 AM
Union Starbucks baristas have taken the world by storm since launching a historic unfair labor practice strike in November.
For every barista on strike, dozens of customers and allies have joined them by refusing to buy Starbucks. This collective action has built real consumer pressure on Starbucks to stop illegal union busting and finalize a fair union contract.
As workers continue to strike, sbworkersunited is calling on customers and allies to take this fight to the next level by joining a call to learn what's next.
