Sweet senior Toto had a great day at the groomer. This lovely boy has a meet and greet this weekend, so he wanted to look his very best. His before and after photos definitely show how handsome he is both fluffy and trimmed 🥰 Though, as we looked more closely, we wondered, does he kind of resemble a tiny alpaca? 🦙

It’s a great opportunity for children (ages 6 and up) to strengthen their reading skills in the company of gentle, loving service dogs from Furry Friends Pet Assisted Therapy Services.

We don't know why little Sol ended up at the shelter for the second time back in December. This sensitive, sweet girl found the noises and smells scary and she was declining in the kennel. Despite her kennel fears, she did well in playgroup and shone on her Tails and Trails outing. Thanks to an experienced SVPP foster, this shy girl is now in a loving home where she can finally decompress and relax and has a dog pal to show her the ropes 🐕️ She will soon be ready for her forever family ❤️
Theo and Petunia's finders did everything right when they noticed them alone in a field. They let them be and waited and watched to give momma time to come back. Sadly, she did not and the kittens appeared thin and wormy. Once they got them home, the finders reached out to friends for help and were directed to SVPP. Because they are willing to care for the kittens and keep them until they can be adopted, we were able to jump in to start getting them the vaccinations and care they will need to grow into happy, healthy cats.
Please join us tomorrow at Pup Plaza when we will be hosting some of the foster dogs from San Jose Animal Care Center! This is a great opportunity to meet some lovely, adoptable pets who are ready and waiting for a forever family, perhaps that is you!
Walter is on the move! 🐾
We wanted to share a quick update on our favorite resilient guy. Walter’s surgery was a success, and as you can see, his leg is healing beautifully. Best of all? He’s officially back on his feet and rediscovering his stride (check out that video! 😍).
We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who has stepped up for Walter so far. Because of you, we’ve raised $2,200 toward our $5,000 goal! 🧡
