With Pace Shift, Stuttgart-based designer Svea Svigersøn examines a culture locked in constant acceleration. Using equestrian sport as both metaphor and memory, the collection reflects performance pressure, control, and the quiet cost of always pushing further. Once a space of calm and connection, riding becomes a lens to question how functionality is often placed above well-being. Traditional equestrian codes, long tied to elitism and exclusivity, are reworked through contemporary silhouettes and materials, shifting the aesthetic toward something more accessible and wearable.
