genuinely thank you all so much for the birthday wishes and celebration. i never thought in a million years that turning 30 years old would be as fun as this. my heart is so full of love. seeing the entire room full of my closest friends - ugh. thank you all so much for making me feel truly SPECIAL!!

we do these festivals together a whole lot - and they really genuinely just keep getting better and better - more organized, more intimate, and more special. while i don't need to get into the details with a heartfelt monologue for every fest and every single post; i just have to say that it feels really fucking good to be able to claim that you've found your people in life. your ride or dies. the people that would care if you didn't live to see another day.

i went on a solo trip to see crankdat at red rocks and visit all my denver friends at the cube headquarters - and wow. blown away is an understatement. first time seeing snow, first time seeing denver, first time at red rocks. to top it all off i got to go backstage on the crankdeck (thank you nora you are amazing!!) - what a crazy way to do it for the very first time out there.
dever doesn't feel like a real place. EDM is baked into the day to day culture. the food is awesome. everyone is so active, young, and inclusive. every other car is a subaru. i felt like i belonged immediately. i can't wait to be back.
had a blast last weekend running our show with the boys at @vooswar 🙂↕️it was good to see everyone that came out!
if i may get on my soapbox for a moment because i really can't stress this enough - everyone should come out to a local or underground bass show sometime!! i have the most fun personally at events like these. just being honest here, while people do come (y'all rock!!!), i do get a lot of no's from people who would probably have a fucking blast and i'd like to make it my personal mission to change that. genuinely think of every time you've been to the bars around town and how it's been pretty dreadful - the music sucks, everyone at the bar is weird, and you just want to go home. i'd like you to think of our shows not like a show at decca or a huge headliner, but more like a good night out with all of your friends in the city, and if you're new, a place to meet people like you - all with a good ass soundtrack in the background.
at duval sound, we're not the stars of the show, we're the curators of the evening. we have the potential to make nights like these amazing and packed out every single time, build a proper community, and i would love to see more people come out. it's the main reason why we started duval sound in the first place and i promise you that if you've never been and have been considering giving it a chance - you'll have a great time.
