Transvulcania Media Marathon, what a brutal and stunning climb. Rough all the way up the over 2,100m over vertical, 14th was a decent result hopefully better to come!

Some shots from the first day of @transvulcania on the @wmramountainrun World Cup including the Vertical Kilometre time trial race.
Felt good, got into a great rhythm and my legs were flowing well until the narrow ridge into the second half of the race. Did fairly well with a 14th place, beating all the other antipodeans, in 53 min 24 seconds for the 7.2km +1,200m course.
I also got some great clips of the initial switchbacks above us, @erik.martin.nilsson crossing the finish, and a beautiful sunset over the water to cap off the day 👍
