Today, we’re really proud to officially announce the Sutherland Sharks Foundation.
The Foundation is our way to give back to families in our local community and to ensure that each and every child has the opportunity to be their very best!
This will be achieved through our Player Scholarship program, whereby we aim to provide full or partial cover for registration fees as we know the cost of football is potentially a barrier. This ensures that no child is left behind.
Beyond scholarships, the Foundation will deepen our connection to the Sutherland Shire community through discounted clinics, holiday camps, and school partnerships that bring elite coaching directly to local students. Football builds resilience, teamwork, and character, and we want as many young people as possible to experience that.

As the dust settles on our inaugural Foundation Night, we were blown away by the support!
The Sharks community showed up in a big way on Friday, and the result is something we’re genuinely proud of. Raising $57,493 for the Foundation means more scholarships, more school and community programs. Creating a real, lasting impact on football for the next generation of kids in the Shire.
That doesn’t happen without every single person who walked through the door, got behind the cause, and made the night what it was. Thank you.
A huge thank you also to our incredible team who worked behind the scenes to pull this together, and to our partners who kept everyone fed and watered on the night.
