Feb was weird but my garden is regenerating again and the avos got comically huuuge while I wasn’t looking so I picked the largest ones first as a test harvest today. They remind me to meet the absurd with levity.
I love farmers markets so damn much. Chatted with a grain grower, a cheese maker, then got ripe honey dates that fell off the pit when it touched my lip. Getting to know my farmers and their care inspires closeness to soil, our human village, and interdependence. Nature is a b u n d a n t and a wizard.
