We’re so excited to finally announce that SURPY will be joining us at Afourika Vol.3, travelling all the way from Nigeria to Birmingham this June 🌍
Known for his creativity, performance quality and contribution to the growth of Afro street dance culture, Surpy has built a strong name within the scene and is widely respected within the Konto community.
His movement carries both technique and authenticity, blending powerful storytelling, musicality and raw energy in a way that has impacted dancers across Nigeria and beyond.
At Afourika, he’ll be guiding us through Konto, sharing not just choreography, but the feeling, foundations and culture behind the style.
Having artists directly from the culture is something deeply important to us, and bringing this level of knowledge and experience to Birmingham is a huge moment for the community.
