AUSTRALIA. QLD. CURRUMBIN ALLEY.
Welcome to Surf Easy Surf School, who have renewed their ASI Accredited Surf School status.
Located at the iconic Currumbin Alley on the Gold Coast, Surf Easy offers one of the best spots in Australia to learn and progress, with friendly, consistent waves ideal for all ages.
Surf Easy is owned and operated by Patrick O’Leary, an advanced surfer and accredited instructor, alongside Ann Stuart, who manages operations and logistics. With a team of ASI-certified instructors holding surf rescue and first aid qualifications, the school provides safe, supportive coaching in and out of the water.
The school offers group and private lessons, plus Surf Wise beginner and intermediate certificate courses designed to build skills step-by-step. Programs are tailored to each surfer, making it easier to stand up confidently and enjoy the thrill of riding waves.
Surf Easy also delivers a range of specialised programs, including a Women’s Only 6-week course combining surfing with strength, stretch, and breathwork. Kids Holiday Programs, school sports sessions, and corporate team-building experiences are also available. Surfboard hire is offered for anyone wanting extra practice.
Currumbin Alley is renowned for its gently peeling waves that wrap around the headland over a sandy bottom - perfect for learning close to shore, with more challenging sections further out. The surrounding parklands, amenities, cafés, and nearby shops make it a great spot to enjoy a full beach day with family or friends.
Whether you’re catching your first wave or taking your surfing further, Surf Easy Surf School offers a welcoming and fun environment at one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic breaks.
