Hey y’all! Hope all is well!!!
Growing up together in Henderson, we were very lucky to find each other. 2 boys going to 2 different schools. Always learning from each other in every way when we’d come back together. As close as we were got and as exciting as our world was becoming, we were alone in it. When we were desperate to record, Nick would record everything off his laptop microphone and Jacob would take frequent trips to Best Buy and guitar center always buying the wrong thing. Our desperation and the diy spirit led us to the “Surf Curse Demos.” To this day, it still sounds so pure, youthful, and warm. Luckily we were able to find community in the Reno music scene.
We have always tried to spread some gospel or advice on how to find community and like minded people.
We understand the loneliness of music and figuring out recording techniques on your own so hearing about what @notesfornotes is doing really resonates with our beliefs. Music eduction is so important and can help build confidence and creativity within our youth.

I think it’s finally time to address the rise of “Disco”. It’s such an insane honor that the song has reached so many people. It’s the song that we both have felt the most pride and love for. We were two friends coming together to make a song followed by the choreographed dance between Nick and @liza.barskaya for the music video.
All of this happening because (if we’re wrong we apologize) of a tik tok account named Minimal Insanity. An organic gesture of just doing something fun. Now it’s a dance trend between 2 people, bringing together, friends, families, dogs,cats, etc. Usually these videos end with a smile and that’s what warms our hearts the most. This song was always meant to be fun and now that fun has reached so many people. It’s brought us to the @billboard hot 100 and currently #1 on the Billboard Tik Tok Chart. We are so thankful to everyone and anyone who’s listened to the song. You all are a blessing.
