Thank you @nike for sending me the most sentimental gift I ever received. Custom made framed memorabilia celebrating the great career accomplishments of my favorite WNBA player @sabrina_i and signed by her as well! They even framed a comment I left on her page. This made me cry wow. My Sagittarius sister thank you for helping my city win a championship we will forever love you. This gift means so much to me. @nike told me that they’re gonna tell me I can’t do it, so do it anyway. Keep shouting, keep winning. So that’s what I’m gonna do! This message came at the perfect time when I needed a little boost. I know I’m on the right path, feels good to get a sign from some people higher up. Let’s keep going.💚

“I’m a Brooklyn n*gg* anyhow..” had a great few weeks back home in the greatest city in the world. 💚

I had the honor to help create the celebration event for the release of the @converse x @undefeatedinc sneaker to commemorate the Brooklyn @dodgers (yes the @dodgers once played in Brooklyn) once I got asked to join the team to put this together I had a vision of how I wanted to execute this to make it special for BK and it all came to life! I saw faces I haven’t seen in years, and some faces I never seen in person. Thank you @converse x @undefeatedinc for trusting me, thank you from the bottom of my heart to Raquel for brining me on, thank you to the entire Mocada team for being so hands on. The first episode of the @halfmoonbk +1 docuseries is now live. I had this idea my head for years, to create something that allowed figures in our music scene to tell their stories beyond short form social media content. Heavily inspired by the things I used to watch on @mtv @vh1 and @bet we wanted to create our own version. I knew I just needed the right team to help make this happened and when I assembled @connoraquatic and @kidiznyce this idea became a reality. All self funded because we wait for no one. @shenaecurry I don’t even know where to begin. That first photo is the first day we met at my very first underground rap show in Brooklyn, We was still just teenagers with a deep appreciation and love for music culture and our city. You always reminded me of the woman version of myself so eager to do it all, see it all, and be it all. We were reflections of each other. The second slide is from 2017 when we sold Curry out of an art gallery in Manhattan together. At that time Caribbean culture wasn’t make its way into the downtown art scene as yet but we always was thinking ahead. You’ve been a Brooklyn icon from the time you were born and I’m so hurt that you’re battling this on going fight with cancer and I pray you make it through. You deserve all the flowers possible for your contributions to our city and culture in general. Don’t forget you were the first person to interview @kendricklamar in New York City. Love you forever and we are here fighting with you. Regardless of the outcome you made us all so proud. It’s been an honor to have crossed paths with you during this lifetime, people like you made it fun to be outside in those New York streets trying to find myself. Last week back in NYC me and @tarinilal had the honor of being invited to the Recording Academy (@grammys ) New York chapter nominee celebration. Was great meeting so many interesting people working in music whether it was on the creative side or professional side. Excited to be apart of this music community and looking forward to attending the Grammy awards soon 😎💚
