Healing An Aversion To Intimacy
This short film is a visual poem detailing how it feels to try to be intimate with someone new after experiencing emotional and psychological abuse.

I feel so incredibly humbled, grateful, and proud that I was able to co-produce such a powerful piece with two close friends.
Please watch it with softness and understanding, as for it was made with a lot of intention, pain, and healing. Enjoy loves.

NEPANTLA. This film has been ripening in all its tenderness, and is available in full on Vimeo (link in bio)

NEPANTLA is a concept originating from the Nahuatl language meaning “the in-between.” This can relate to that of someone who walks the spiritual path, “el camino rojo,” and the expansiveness felt in identity, such as being two-spirit, holding both masculine and feminine energies but transcending the modern binary of gender altogether.
Their expression is conveyed through a sacred dance, with the ancestors as a witness to this divine union. Through this ritual they are also coming into wholeness with themselves, the dark and lightness that exists within, while navigating through layers of unraveling and becoming. This film is a time capsule, a grief portal, a labor of love~
Dos anĂłs contigo.

The last five years in San Diego have been wildly transformative—soul-giving, humbling, and rich with growth.
They laid a foundation deep in my heart and body, one steady enough to leap from—toward love, and into this next chapter in Puerto Rico.
I’m honored and proud to say that Puerto Rico is now my home base, and I’m loving every bit of it.
These days, you’ll find Chance and I frolicking the beaches, surfing warm Caribbean waters, tending the land, cultivating tropical fruits, and working with wood to build a future—and future family—rooted in love and intention.
I’m leaning into my partner and their beautiful family, while staying connected to my community and work in San Diego every few months.
With deep respect, I’m humbly learning from the land, the language, the culture, and the people—grateful every day to be welcomed into this vibrant, resilient island and all that it offers.
Reminiscing on the last five years I’ve spent living in Southern California and I STILL feel like I’m in the honeymoon phase with Mama O 🥹🌊
