Hell session the boys went hard. This felt insane, plenty of time to line it up because I had @danny_griffiths giving me a perfect whip! Composure under life threatening situations is what it comes down to! 📸@mat_tildesley
What do you actually do before you paddle out?
Quick warm-up? Jog down the beach? Or nothing at all (probably the most common)?
A good pre-surf warm-up can make a big difference. You either feel ready on that first wave or spend the next 20 minutes trying to get your feet under you.
It doesn’t need to be long. Just 5–10 minutes is enough to get the blood flowing, wake things up, and get your joints moving.
Here, Sam runs through a simple flow here with some guidance so you can see what that looks like.
Keep it basic—hit the hips, knees, shoulders, and back. Stick to bigger movements so everything is working together.
