I’m really damn proud of this book. The heart and soul that went into is real. So is the brutality that spurred it on. I need to share as therapy.
It’s hard to share thing that happened to you. Things that make you feel shame or that you did something wrong. It’s hard to think about this shit.
But it was my therapy. Please encourage people to give it a chance. Colleges, libraries, indie book stores. I want this shit out in the world
Please write a prisoner going through the same shit that will never be heard.
Towards Liberation
@pmpress
This is 4 officers have my face and body pressed against the wall while the 4point bed got made.
They are stripping me by force. Using metal sheets for my pants and metal hooks for my shirts. Handcuffed behind your back, slammed against a wall, you cannot do anything but allow these perverts to do this.
This is why I wrote the book. Because people don’t believe that this happens. It isn’t about me, it isn’t about pity. It’s about understanding why I have fire to the prisons tattooed on my body and abolition is the only thing I talk about.
Abuse in prison is real. There is no “don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time” bullshit. This is torture and abuse.
Please write someone in prison who has to experience this shit. Someone who cannot do other but hold onto their ethics and mental strength to get through hell.
Towards Liberation!
On this week's episode, Sam is joined by Eric King, an anarchist writer, antifascist organizer, and former federal prisoner whose new memoir, A Clean Hell: Anarchy and Abolition in America’s Most Notorious Dungeon, offers a firsthand account of incarceration inside some of the most restrictive prisons in the United States, including ADX Florence, alcatraz of the rockies, the federal supermax sometimes described as the most secure prison in the world.
Eric, like many, was further radicalized during the Ferguson Rebellion in 2014, and since that time has devoted his life to abolitionism. On this week’s episode Sam and Eric talk life inside, and how the relationships we build across prison walls serve as a lifeline for those the State is trying to make disappear. How does prisoner support work, do you have any excuse not to be doing it? How does the disposability culture peddled by prison wardens show up in our social movements and communities? How do we win? All this in more in this week’s Party Girls.
In the oddest damn thing, in the past 4 months over 3,000,000 people have heard me talk about how devastating the Federal Supermax is.
After so many years of absolutely no contact and real deal restrictions, I have a voice finally and I get to use it bashing prisons and uplifting prisoners.
It never feels enough. We can always be louder and just more..but also having these opportunities feels really nice. I get to give back to those who loved me and those who inspired me.
Anarchist in the mainstream just hijacking space
Please support those inside, please let their voices be amplified, please let their victories be celebrated.
Towards Liberation!
Please join us for our monthly prisoner letter writing event on May 18th at 6pm, at Washington Street Community Center (809 S Washington Street, Denver)!
Snacks and Supplies will be provided. Hope to see you there!
I think about this Eric a lot. How shaken he was after years and years of intense battles. How god damn tired I was all the time; mentally and physically.
He didn’t know what 7 years of segregation would do to his body and brain. He didn’t realize what deep internal trauma was. He didn’t know how his family would handle him or if his comrades would stick around.
Prison is scary for a lot of reasons. It’s scary that your brain tells you battling cops is the best dopamine you can get. It’s scary that your fight or flight is ALWAYS on guard 24/7.
It’s scary how accustomed to violence towards myself and others I became. I resisted. I am proud of that resistance. There were more wars inside than anyone would believe. But there were consequences also.
I am still hurting and still healing. Still fighting to shake the chains off. So thank you to all the friends and comrades who have helped me with that battle. The battle to be ERIC. Imagine if I didn’t have my family or friends, sesh. Imagine if @pmpress didn’t let me write a therapy book to let go of the hurt inside.
Please remember all the things a prisoner getting out can’t tell you, cause it’s buried. Be patient and loving and HONEST. It’s a gift
Love and respect to everyone who cares about those inside and does something about it. It’s never too late to start

Tomorrow is Bobby Sands day. The day he sacrificed his life for a socialist United Ireland.
He wasn’t alone. He wasn’t the first Irish Republican to die, and he wasn’t alone in this strike. He had just watched a strike that went to the point of death before being called off at the last second.
Bobby saw that and still marched forward. His dedication to free United Ireland was stronger than anything the British could do to him.
A lot of “Irish Americans” do a horrible disservice to everyone who has fought for liberation, those who not for racism or xenophobia or colonialism. I’m not an expert, but I know this one.
I feel this a good day to meditate on tactics. Learning from the Irish in the north who faced internment, deep repression, family abuse and tyranny, as well as massive imprisonment and torture.
What can we learn? What can we learn about what we are willing to do, what small or large victories can we claim and how. When Trump sends those masked fascist and start filling those warehouses, how will we handle it together? We can learn from all of them.
Love and respect to Bobby and all those who fight for liberation and taught us what it means to love enough to fight.
“Our vengeance will be the laughter of our children”

Please write someone who fought desperately and is facing the states repression for it. Let’s honor Bobby and all the others

My Wife is amazing
Towards Liberation
Friends, been waiting on this day. Huge day
After 2 years and 4 months of piss test, house visits, restricted travel, phone monitoring (off and on) and most importantly the constant fear of being thrown back inside at the whim of someone else…
I’m off of Probation!! We did it!!
Missouri signed off, Denver signed off, I am officially free. An entire new Free Anniversary. Yesterday my family mourned my lost brother, today we celebrated my lost chains.
All solidarity to those still inside, and those still on probation who face those constant stresses..but for today at least, I breath my first truly free breath in 12 years.
Please write someone inside or please offer support to someone still on papers. We can win.
We did it! Towards Liberation!
Thank you so much to everyone who showed up for our letter writing and teach in for the Prairieland defendants 🖤
Thanks especially to @ierg4pe , @urgepalette , @pain.sugar.gallery , and @supportericking , who called in to speak with us about his experiences in Federal prison and offer context and hope 🖤
The cases are scary but they should serve as a reminder to be brave in the face of worsening crackdowns and political representation.
Follow @dfwsupportcommittee and @free.des.revol to keep up to date for ways to support and show solidarity 🖤
22 times, I was transferred 22 times in 10 years. Jackson County-CCA Leavenworth-Grady County-Englewood FCI-Florence FCI-Florence USP-USP Leavenworth-OKC FTC-USP MCCREARY-OKC FTC-Atlanta FTC-USP Lee-Atlanta FTC-Grady County-FDC Englewood-OKC FTC-Atlanta FTC-USP Lee-Atlanta FTC-Grady County-ADX-USP Florence-Home
This is called Diesel Therapy. Intentionally done to disorient people, separate them from support, put them in awkward or scary situations
Transferring in federal prison, or prison in general, is a normal but VERY shitty situation. Most of the time it’s a typical exhausting and stressful situation,
Not something to panic over but just another of the regular shitty experiences we all have to go through.
When someone is transferred it’s important to keep eyes on them, to be there for when they land. Every transfer isn’t a 5 star alarm, but they all need to be paid attention to in case they turn into that.
It fucking sucks.
Please keep your eyes open for transfers. If someone needs help, let’s be there. But remember thousands are going through this everyday. Politicals are special when it comes to this bullshit. Abolition for all,
Even the shitty ones.
