This team was special. 💘 It was v cool to have the first person I ever worked with in this field art direct, and it truly felt impossible to choose my favorites from each look, because every photo Gina took was magic. Stoked for more of this.
Right before my recent birthday, I’d started making a diary entry titled “things I’ve learned thus far”, and it mostly included notes to myself such as:
• spend time alone, because nothing can stop you when you’re comfortable in your own skin
• it’s ok to make art for fun, not every hobby needs to be for profit
• you can always make more money
and then things like:
• de-center men; the loves of your life will be your friends
• the biggest heart breaks will also be from your friends
and really, most importantly:
• use more salt when cooking
