Yesterday after the race I did my first cold plunge (only up to my knees) for about 3-5 minutes (felt like forever) and today relaxed in the pool. Trying to sooth and recover my swollen legs and feet 😃
Sedona Canyons 125 complete. I could not have done it without @dhposer as my crew chief and number 1 supporter and the coaching of @so_cal_runner . Definitely my most challenging ultra but met lots of great people on the journey!!
I did not make it off the Cocodona 250 waitlist but I am in the Sedona Canyons 125. My race starts Wednesday at 7am PT. I picked up my bib today and got to say hello to @rachel__entrekin for the second time while out in Arizona. She is always gracious and a great ambassador for the sport!! As always I could not do this without the support of @dhposer
Last Saturday’s run - Bell Rock to Llama and Little Horse. Took me up by close to the Chapel. @squirrels_nut_butter keeps my toes happy (Mill’ee approved) and chafe free. It will be in my pack for my Sedona Canyons race next week.
Friday Run at Big park Loop, Rabbit Ears, Little Rock, and Middle Loop. If you zoom in at the top@of@the grass of the third picture you will get a glimpse of the coyote on the trail
Monday’s training run - Wildcat Hill to Heritage Square. Again a HUGe thanks to @marydeaneruns_ for keeping this afraid of heights girl sane and was my white rabbit to follow up and down the exposed areas of Mount Elden.
Sunday’s training run. Hangover Trail and Schnebly Rd. I could not have made it through the climb up the Hangover Trail without @marydeaneruns_ That was no joke for someone who does not like heights!
