Chapman Avenue, Fullerton, CA 92832 🏫The Youth Career Connections Summer Career & Life Prep Academy is open to all current middle school students (7th-8th) and high school students (9th-11th) attending a school in the districts of Anaheim Union, Fullerton Joint Union, Brea-Olinda and Placentia-Yorba Linda. 📣The program features guest speakers from local businesses and organizations, career prep workshops, and industry site visits. These workshops are designed to help you build essential skills for future careers, part-time jobs, and internships. Magnetic stripe‑only EBT cards were deactivated on April 19, 2026. You must replace your magnetic stripe‑only card with a chip/tap-enabled EBT card to continue accessing benefits. Residents who already have chip/tapenabled EBT cards do not need to take further action. Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) and SUN Bucks magnetic-stripe EBT cards will not be affected. To request a replacement, please call the EBT Helpline at (877) 328‑9677, visit Benefitscal.com or ebtedge.com, or contact your local Social Services Agency office in person or by phone at (800) 281‑9799

Yesterday Office Ambassador Paulette Chaffee attended the grand opening of Azure Apartments, an 89-unit supportive housing community located in Anaheim. Individuals will be provided with wraparound services onsite to support their journey to housing stability including intensive case management services, community gardens, computer labs, and other community facilities. It was great to see the transformation of a once forgotten motel into a new and bright future for the Anaheim community. Congratulations to Linc Housing, American Family Housing, and the City of Anaheim on this amazing accomplishment!

I attended the Spring Showcase for the CSUF Community Health Ambassador Program (CHAP). ��CHAP was funded and launched by my office in collaboration with CSUF, and provides students an opportunity to make real policy changes to Public Health in the City of Stanton. It was great seeing the students projects progress from their first showcase and the innovation they have spearheaded. ��Thank you to the CSUF Public Health Faculty and students for your dedication to making our community healthier.

Office Ambassador Paulette Chaffee attended the Fullerton School District's Ribbon Cutting for the grand opening of the new Arts and Recreation Center (ARC) at Parks Junior High. The new space features basketball and volleyball courts, spectator seating, and a performance stage. The ARC will help students grow in their artistic and athletic passions. Its National Nurses Week. Nurses are the backbone of the healthcare system, integrating compassion with science to help a patient thought their health care journey. They perform a range of tasks, including patient care education, advocacy, administration, and research. Nurses are vital to our healthcare system, ensuring patients feel supported and safe during their hardest times. The County of Orange is grateful to have approximately 500 nurses working in our Health Care Agency, from Behavioral to Public Health.
