In @billboard annual poll of country & western disc jockeys, the album ranked No. 6 among the “Favorite C&W Albums of 1961.”
Its opening track, “The Blizzard,” reached No. 4 on the Billboard Country & Western chart in March of that year, helping cement the album as another classic entry in the Gentleman Jim canon.
