After festival season, things slow down around here which frees me up for big, collaborative creative projects like this. Dave Keane from @follybuilders reached out to see if I was available for a rush job with @desiflowerstudio for the @asianartmuseum ’s gala less than a week away. The assignment was to design and fabricate fabric petals for a 20’ wide lotus flower that would be the centerpiece of a circular bar thar would be projected upon. Everyone got to work and here are the results, in reverse chronological order 🪷
