Not every race ends with a finish line đ
At The Traka, our @supernova__design ambassador @ubartholmoes came in more prepared than ever. Months of training, countless hours on the course, every climb and section studied in detail.
But sometimes racing has other plans đ
After 150 km, a high-speed impact on a rocky descent in the Pyrenees destroyed the front rim. No crash. No injury. But no way to continue the remaining 400 km either.
No finish time. No podium. Just broken carbon.
And still â this is what racing is also about.
The preparation. The risk. The unknown. Testing yourself against terrain, speed, and circumstance. Sometimes the result is not a victory, but the experience itself.

Before the start of TRAKA 560 last friday, we asked @jananas.banjana our @supernova__design family athlete what she was looking forward to most đ
âLong hours alone with my bike. Remote gravel roads. Sunrise. My curated playlist.â
A few days later, she crossed the finish line of The Traka 560 km as the 3rd woman overall.
For Jana, races like this are more than competition. They are experiments â testing new equipment, pushing limits, staying focused when things get hard.

The TRAKA is starting already this Friday! And weâve got a stacked lineup of riders at the start â but today we want to highlight one of our @supernova__design ambassadors family : @robingemperle .
After closing his 2025 season with a major success in Kyrgyzstan, Robin shifted focus to a 2026 calendar built around shorter ultra races. First up: Traka 560, kicking off in Girona.
Traka has become Europeâs premier gravel event, and the 560km âadventureâ distance is quickly gaining momentumâbringing together ultra riders and fast gravel specialists in one of the most competitive fields out there.
With an expected finish under 24 hours, the race will be fast and demanding. For Robin, itâs about racing aggressively while staying efficientâfueling well and keeping stops to a minimum. The climbs come early, so positioning and pacing will be key from the start.
