When I was 10, Mom gave me a bag of chocolate chips and the rest of the ingredients to make cookies. Told me to follow the recipe and let her know if I had any questions. I didn’t have any questions. That’s how she taught me how to cook. But what she really taught me was to enjoy cooking and the love of sharing a meal with others. I can still hear her sometimes telling me “that’s not the way I would do it” when cooking. ❤️❤️
Cheers to Nancy!! She was always up for an adventure and her daughter’s antics. We went to NYC one summer because I was obsessed with a Rockettes show and didn’t question mine and Karlas need to finish our train sangrias on the subway. Happy Mother’s Day!!
