Here’s another preview of TAMAGO GUNDAN, a new line of original resin kits from Zimmerit and garagekit.club. Channeling that Showa era aesthetic, these figures will come in a few different forms including multi-piece kits and single-piece figures with a keshi-gomu form factor. TAMAGO GUNDAN will debut next week at the inaugural Wonder Festival US in Atlanta, GA (as part of Momocon) and later be available through garagekit.club.
The images above are of a close combat shell with the reporting name “Frogfoot.”

Beyond stoked to have an illustration featured in @zimmerit 's excellent Artmic Fan Book! Artmic, the legendary studio behind Bubblegum Crisis, Dragon's Heaven, Madox-01, Gall Force, and so many others, played a core role in shaping my early fandom during the VHS era (SD Double Feature changed my life lol) and their works remain peak IMO. Just found these teeny tiny lil SD Gundam World books from 1987! 📚 They're only a little bit taller than keshi of the time, but are pretty dense and filled with SD illustrations and stats. Easily the smallest books on my shelf lol

Mackie Stingray's Powered Suit from Bubblegum Crisis goes SD! Afaik Mackie's suit was only really featured in BGC episode 8 ("Scoop Chase"), but that happens to be the one I watched most as a kid so the design kinda stuck with me. Nene cameo sans Hardsuit this time (it's in Mackie's back container).
